A storage facility has become the scene of a costly crime after an unknown woman broke into the Public Storage on 27124 Northwest Freeway. The Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office reports that the suspect caused an estimated $15,000 in damages during the break-in, which took place after the business had closed on July 9, 2025.
Constable Mark Herman's deputies responded to the burglary call two days later, and after an investigation, have identified Eleni McLin as the suspect. The deputies met with the storage management, who reported the incident and confirmed the suspect's forced entry into a secured area, according to a post on the Precinct 4 Facebook page. McLin was also caught on the surveillance video during the act.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are considering whether McLin has been involved in other similar incidents at various Public Storage locations. "Eleni McLin is currently wanted for Criminal Mischief through the 208th District Court.
