Glenn Dolford, a 32-year-old resident of the District of Columbia, has been handed a sentence of 42 months in federal prison for his involvement in a series of violent robberies, as reported by the U.S. Attorney's Office. The sentence was delivered in U.S. District Court on July 18th, following Dolford's guilty plea on February 28, 2025, to two counts related to the Hobbs Act—interference with interstate commerce by threat or violence. Judge Amy Berman Jackson, who presided over the case, also mandated three years of supervised release after the prison term.

Previously, Dolford was convicted of second-degree murder while armed and other charges in 2023 related to a fatal Super Bowl Sunday shooting incident that occurred in February 2020. "Dolford was previously convicted in 2023 of second-degree murder while armed, aggravated assault while armed, and assault with a deadly weapon for killing one man and shooting two others on Super Bowl Sunday in February 2020," according to a statement obtained by the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Details released about the June 2020 robbery spree reveal a brutal attack on a CVS Pharmacy in Nottingham, Maryland, where Dolford and conspirators demanded narcotics and personal items from terrified employees. A day following this robbery, a T-Mobile store in College Park, Maryland, was targeted, with employees forced to surrender phones totaling around $20,000 in value. Investigators later indicated that Dolford rented the getaway car, a silver VW Jetta, from Enterprise Rent-a-Car before the incidents.

FBI Assistant Director in Charge Steven J. Jensen from the Washington Field Office joined U.S. Attorney Jeanine Ferris Pirro in announcing the sentence. Dolford's co-conspirators have also faced justice with Floyd Neal, 32 of Washington, D.C., receiving over 157 months in prison for his role in other armed robberies, while another co-defendant, Ashawntea Henderson, 32, also of Washington, D.C., was sentenced to 52 months for his participation in a drug store robbery in May 2020. During this robbery, Henderson's group assaulted a night pharmacist and stole prescription narcotics, eventually getting into a collision with a police cruiser as they tried to escape, the U.S. Attorney's Office detailed.

Investigations leading to these sentences were conducted by the FBI Washington Field Office’s Violent Crimes Task Force, the Metropolitan Police Department, and the Prince George’s County Police Department, showcasing coordinated efforts to bring perpetrators to justice. The prosecution was carried out by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Cameron Tepfer, Kyle McWaters, Sarah Martin, and Josh Gold.
