Tragedy unfolded last night in the streets of Southwest Baltimore when a woman was found shot and killed. According to FOX Baltimore, police were called to the 1100 block of Mount Holly Street around 11:26 p.m. after reports surfaced of a woman lying on the pavement. Arriving officers encountered a dire scene; the woman had already sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound.
Homicide detectives are now on the hunt for answers, as the woman was pronounced dead on the scene by medics. The Baltimore Police Department is leading the investigation and is urging the public to come forward with any information that may be helpful.
