
A woman lost her life in a tragic series of events on Highway 6 in west Harris County, after being struck by multiple vehicles, officials reported. As per statements made to Click2Houston, the incident occurred last night near Beechnut, just shy of 9:30 p.m. The woman was walking in the southbound lane of Highway 6 when she was hit by several drivers who reportedly failed to stop afterwards.
Details emerged that other vehicles may have unknowingly contributed to the tragedy, compounding the grim circumstance. Witnesses relayed to the Harris County Sheriff's Office that a collision between a car and another car preceded the woman being run over. The incident also involved a white or silver GMC pickup truck, as per a report by KHOU.
