The Wright County Sheriff’s Office has reported a significant number of arrests in a recent roundup, touching on a variety of charges ranging from controlled substance offenses to domestic violence. According to an official release from the Sheriff's Office, dated July 14, 2025, the arrests took place over a week-long period ending on July 14th.
Among the arrests, Kendall Laray Bennett was apprehended on a charge of 3rd Degree Controlled Substance, while Julie Ann Blood was taken into custody on an accusation of theft. Dustin Ryan Dunn, Daniel John Gustavson, and Mariah Ann Lindquist-Gatlin were some of the others who faced drug-related and domestic abuse charges, respectively. Notably, multiple individuals, including Bennett and Gustavson, were detained in counties different than Wright, highlighting the cross-jurisdictional nature of law enforcement efforts.
The report also detailed traffic-related incidents with 22 Property Damage Accidents, 12 Personal Injury Accidents, and 7 Hit and Run Accidents, providing a glimpse into the routine vehicular misdemeanors within the county. Additionally, the Sheriff's Office listed 6 DWI arrests and 123 tickets handed out for miscellaneous traffic violations, reflecting ongoing challenges with roadway safety and law compliance.
Concerning substance-related offenses, a noteworthy portion of the arrest log centered around controlled substances, with several arrests for both 5th and 3rd Degree, as seen in cases like Geraldine Lynn Casey and Shaun Michael Ergeson.
