A young man's life came to a tragic end in Washington County when 21-year-old Elijah Thomas Johnson was fatally shot inside a friend's home late Sunday night. According to WTAE, the incident took place around 11:10 p.m. on the 20 block of Walnut Street in the small town of Ellsworth.
An ongoing investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police has been underway since the shooting. The coroner's office confirmed the victim's identity as Elijah Thomas Johnson, hailing from Carnegie.
