Azadzoi of Citrus Heights, along with 28-year-old Ayesha Malik of Richmond who was in the vehicle with Azadzoi and suffered minor injuries, were the occupants of the Corvette according to information from KCRA.

Raul Torres Jr., 22, of Manteca, the driver of the Mustang, reportedly left the scene and was later apprehended by the CHP at his Manteca residence. A statement released about the crash called attention to the dangers of street racing, emphasizing that it's not worth risking one's life.

"This is a stark reminder street racing is extremely dangerous," the CHP said in a post on social media. "It's not worth your life," highlighting the perilous consequences of such activities, as mentioned on KCRA.
