As the citizens of Apache Junction gear up to celebrate Labor Day, the city has announced adjusted hours for a variety of public facilities. According to the city’s official website, administrative offices will take a break from the bureaucratic bustle, choosing to close doors in honor of the federal holiday.
While administrative work takes a brief pause, the Apache Junction Police Department emphasizes that emergency services will continue without interruption. Meanwhile, residents looking to cap off the summer can head to the Superstition Shadows Aquatic Center for its “Last Splash Event,” running from noon to 5 p.m., as per the City of Apache Junction.
The Apache Junction Public Library and Animal Control Center will also be closed for the day, resuming normal operations the following day. However, the Multi-Generational Center will remain open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. "We wish all residents a safe and enjoyable Labor Day," the City of Apache Junction stated.
