According to the SBSD Fontana Sheriff's Department, several residents of the Rosena Ranch area reported an unknown white male acting strangely, prompting a response from the Fontana Sheriff's Station.
Deputy J. Gomez, acting upon these concerns, located the man, identified as 47-year-old Paul Boubion from Apple Valley, near the intersection of Clearwater Parkway and Glen Helen Parkway. The sheriff's department reported that Boubion was detained without incident but was found to have an outstanding warrant for a narcotic-related offense issued by the Victorville Superior Court.
While Boubion was seated in the back of the patrol vehicle, he commenced to bang his head, as deputies conducted an on-site investigation. Consequently, he inflicted injuries on himself, necessitating immediate medical attention. "He was transported to San Bernardine's Medical Center for treatment," as stated by the SBSD Fontana Sheriff's Department.
Following treatment for his self-inflicted injuries, Boubion was cited and dutifully released at the hospital, provided with a court date to address his outstanding warrant.
