Calling all 50 and beyond sporting enthusiasts in Arlington! You now have a chance to show off your skills and engage in some friendly competition. ACTIV’s 50+ adult sports recreational leagues are back this fall. According to the City of Arlington, it’s time to dust off those sneakers and hit the courts and playing fields come September.

Open for both team entries and individuals ready to join a ragtag team of equally enthusiastic players, registrations are ongoing for men’s basketball, co-ed pickleball, volleyball, and cornhole. While ACTIV has been a happening spot since its launch in March 2025, this is your shot to be part of the action. Just remember, the clock is ticking – you have until August 15, 2025, to make your mark, or rather, make your registration.

For those ready to bank shots and set picks, men’s basketball games are scheduled for Wednesdays with a sign-up fee of $40 per player. Volleyball spikes and serves can be enjoyed on Sundays, also with a fee of $40 per player. If pickleball is more your pace, those games are lined up for Sundays with a slightly lower fee of $35. Cornhole enthusiasts will have their tosses and turns on Tuesdays, tossing bags for the same bargain fee of $35.
