In a routine yet decisive crackdown on retail theft, the Baldwin Park Police Department has provided a detailed rundown on the recent arrests associated with grand theft from the WSS store in Baldwin Park. According to the Baldwin Park Police Department, the same store faced recurring thefts in the past months before the intervention of sharp-eyed detectives.
Earlier this week, Baldwin Park officers responded to a theft report and quickly developed suspect leads. Detectives pursued those leads, which led to a traffic stop that resulted in two arrests and the recovery of stolen items valued at about $1,100, as per the Baldwin Park Police Department.
The investigation continued, and a follow-up search warrant at a related location uncovered additional suspects and more stolen property. "In total, BPPD Detectives recovered around $2,000 worth of stolen property that was stolen from stores throughout the San Gabriel Valley," the Baldwin Park Police Department stated.
