
Authorities are currently investigating a severe accident involving a pedestrian and a grey Toyota Corolla early Sunday morning on MD-295, near the Annapolis Road exit in Baltimore, as reported by FOX Baltimore. The incident, which occurred around 3:50 a.m., resulted in serious injuries to the individual on foot, who was subsequently transported to a local hospital.
The Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) Police, along with their Collision Reconstruction Unit, are heading the inquiry to elucidate the course of events that led to the pedestrian being struck. WMAR-2 News reports that the driver of the implicated vehicle did not leave the scene following the crash and is likely cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
