Looking to celebrate the end of summer with a beach vibe but without the hassle of packing sunscreen? Farragut's Mayor Ralph McGill Plaza is going to quickly become a seaside escape right in the middle of town. On Saturday, August 23, from 6-8 p.m., the community is invited to Beach Party on the Plaza, a free event promising to deliver summertime fun sans the sandy mess.
The festivities, as reported by the Town of Farragut, will include live music to really enjoy from the 103.5 WIMZ Garage Band. Adding to this musical treat are food trucks serving up a variety of dishes to sate any appetite, alongside activities that will have both kids and adults feeling like they've just stepped onto the boardwalk. Oh, and don't forget to don your best Hawaiian shirt – it's not just suggested, it's heartily encouraged.
The Beach Party on the Plaza is a fun way to celebrate the end of summer and bring the community together. For more details, contact Farragut Tourism Manager Hallie Reid at [email protected].
