The Benicia Police Department swiftly apprehended four suspects following a violent robbery at a local business. The incident occurred yesterday morning when four assailants attacked an employee, stealing over $6,500 worth of personal items, including jewelry and a phone, according to a social media report from Benicia PD.
Investigators zeroed in on the perpetrators, aged between 17 and 26, from various local cities. They utilized the city's Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) system, which was crucial in tracking down and arresting the suspects without incident within hours of the robbery.
Detailed arrest records from Benicia Citizen RIMS list the suspects as Viridiana Jaala White, 19, Myanna Chanlaray Wallace, 20, and Alexander Gene Brown, 26, whose races were identified as Black and unknown, respectively. The youngest, a 17-year-old from Suisun, was not named due to their minor status. The list of charges includes second-degree robbery, assault with a deadly weapon with possible great bodily injury, and conspiracy to commit a crime.
