According to the NWS, Charlotte will see highs in the upper 80s today, so sunscreen is a good idea. Morning fog and humidity will clear for mostly sunny skies. Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low near 71°F and light north winds.
Thursday will be warm and sunny, but by the evening, there’s a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Most areas will see only light rain, though storms could bring heavier amounts.
Friday will be warm with a high near 82°F and a chance of showers early, followed by possible thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Rain chances stay around 30% into the night. The weekend looks similar, with both Saturday and Sunday bringing the chance of showers and afternoon storms, though it will still stay warm.
Monday will be sunny with a high near 85°F, offering a break from the weekend rain. Tuesday will also be mostly sunny with highs in the low 80s. As usual, North Carolina’s weather can change quickly, from clear skies to storms.
