A free workshop titled “Conocimientos Básicos para obtener tu licencia de negocio” will be held this August to help Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs understand how to obtain a business license. The session, offered only in Spanish, will cover the steps to secure a license in Unincorporated Clark County, the City of Las Vegas, and the City of North Las Vegas, according to the Clark County.

A free session on applying for a Multijurisdictional Business License will be held on August 11 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the East Las Vegas Library. The license allows entrepreneurs to operate in multiple participating jurisdictions with one permit. Local government licensing representatives will give step-by-step presentations. “Navigating the various steps to obtain a business license can be daunting for many entrepreneurs,” said Commissioner Tick Segerblom, as reported by the Clark County.

Clark County Commissioner William McCurdy announced a free workshop to help current and aspiring business owners understand the licensing process. “Supporting our small business community is essential for a thriving local economy. We are committed to providing resources that simplify these processes and empower individuals—especially those in underserved communities—to achieve their entrepreneurial dreams,” McCurdy said. Free food will be available to attendees while supplies last.
