Clay County Sheriff's Office deputies from the CCSO Task Force recently pulled over a vehicle after discovering that the registered owner had an outstanding warrant in Clay County. The routine traffic stop led to more serious charges when deputies found illicit substances in the car. According to a Facebook post by the Clay County Sheriff's Office, Florida, deputies located "9.2 grams of cocaine and drug paraphernalia" during the vehicle search.
The individual in question was arrested on multiple charges, which included possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license suspended/revoked, and an active warrant for sexual battery wherein the victim was under 12 and the offender 18 or older. This arrest highlights the task force's ongoing efforts to vigorously enforce the law and to safeguard the community from those intent on violating it.
