The Ohio Department of Veterans Services recently announced that Columbus artist and U.S. Air Force veteran Daniel J. King will serve as the juror for the upcoming 2025 Ohio Veterans Art Exhibition. The exhibition, open for submissions from both past and present service members, seeks to showcase the diverse and creative talents within the veteran community. The deadline for artists to submit their works is set for the close of business on Sept. 1, as detailed in a news release by the State of Ohio.
King's credentials include a significant body of work that has not only been featured across the United States but also internationally. He has the unique background to both understand and artistically represent the veteran experience.
Artists looking to have their work showcased at the Riffe Center for Government and the Arts in Columbus have just under a month to submit their work. The selected pieces are set to be on display from Oct. 21 through Dec. 6, giving artists a chance to publicly share their narratives and perspectives through their medium of choice.
