The Columbus Division of Police is seeking the public's aid with a theft that's been left cold in the embers of last June. In a social media post dated today, authorities detailed the incident where two suspects reportedly made off with goods in an act that has so far slipped through the cracks of justice.
According to the Columbus Division of Police's Facebook page, the event unfolded on June 26 when the individuals entered a store located in the 8000 block of E. Broad St., selected various items, and, bypassing the barrier of payment, exited the garden center with their unlawful gains.
The suspects, identities shrouded in anonymity, were last seen making their escape in a black car adorned by a temporary tag. With the scene now devoid of its culprits, detectives are stretching their hands out to the public, hoping for someone to bridge the gap that leads to resolution and accountability.
