As Dallas residents look ahead to the coming days, they can expect a blend of sun and storms according to the latest weather forecasts. Starting today, there's a minor probability of rain in the morning, changing to a chance of showers and thunderstorms later in the afternoon. Temperatures are climbing to a near 92 degrees with an easterly breeze, as reported by the National Weather Service.
The slight chance of scattered thunderstorms will persist until evening, before possibly returning in the early hours of Wednesday. Residents should savor the partly cloudy respite that comes with a low around 72 degrees and the same east-northeast wind. In the following days, conditions will shift, with Wednesday presenting a greater chance of thunderstorms in the later part of the day despite mostly sunny skies and heat index values skyrocketing up to 100 degrees. "A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 7am, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm," the National Weather Service predicts.
Thursday is expected to follow a similar pattern, more sun than storms, yet the likelihood of precipitation picks up as night falls. The mercury will continue its upward trend toward a searing 98 degrees, while a south-southwest wind will gust at times. The chance of showers and storms increases significantly, to 60 percent, late Thursday night. Dallas denizens should prepare for rain showers likely after 1 am, accompanying a warm low of around 75 degrees.
