The culture and arts scene of Lawrenceville is set for an injection of fresh energy and expertise with the appointment of Daniela Esteves as the new Complex General Manager of the Lawrenceville Arts Center (LAC), the City of Lawrenceville announced. Esteves, sporting a resume laden with over eight years of experience in the performing arts sector, notably contributed her talents at the prestigious John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., and further honed her prowess within Gwinnett County’s Gas South District from 2019 to 2021.
Esteves, who holds a Master of Arts in Arts Management from American University and a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from the University of Florida, steps into her role at the LAC with a multifaceted background that encompasses programming, patron services, marketing, and event management, and with a vision to enhance the LAC's role in enriching the cultural tapestry of the area she shared her excitement, obligating her return to a community, "The opportunity to help shape engaging, meaningful arts experiences for the people of Gwinnett and beyond is both exciting and humbling," Esteves expressed a commitment to building on the Lawrenceville Arts Center's strong foundation in her statement obtained by the City of Lawrenceville's press release.
