A tragic incident on the roads of Orange County has resulted in the death of a Daytona Beach man following a motorcycle crash. The Florida Highway Patrol has confirmed that the single-vehicle wreck occurred around 10 p.m. last night on the Interstate 4 east entrance ramp from State Road 536.
As reported by ClickOrlando, the 47-year-old was maneuvering his 2006 Honda CBR600 on the entrance ramp when he failed to successfully navigate a curve, leading the motorcycle onto a grassy shoulder. This misstep resulted in him being ejected from his bike.
The individual was promptly transported to Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital, tragically, he was pronounced dead there according to details provided in an FHP crash report cited by WFTV. FHP has not publicly released the name of the deceased as investigations continue.
