As Labor Day approaches, the City of Denton has announced a series of facility closures and adjusted services for the holiday, set to resume normal operations on Tuesday, Sept. 2. Recreation centers across Denton, like the Denia Rec Center and the MLK Jr. Rec Center, will be not be available on Labor Day, closing their doors on Sept. 1.
