
The Detroit Police Department is calling on the community to assist in the identification of suspects involved in a recent physical assault. As reported by ClickOnDetroit, the attack took place on Michigan Avenue last Saturday and resulted in two men needing medical attention. The confrontation began with a verbal dispute, which escalated to violence, leaving one of the victims hospitalized.
The assault occurred in the 1700 block of Michigan Avenue, close to 7:25 p.m., when the suspects allegedly attacked the two victims, ages 31 and 27. The Detroit Police Department's 3rd Precinct is urging eyewitnesses or those with knowledge pertinent to the case to come forward. Additionally, a tip line has been established at DetroitRewards.tv for citizens to provide information discretely, the police said.
In tandem with law enforcement efforts, a reward has been offered to facilitate the apprehension of the individuals responsible for the assault. DetroitRewards.tv posted on social media, detailing the case and announcing a $2,000 reward for information leading to the suspects' identification. The social media announcement stipulates that any tips provided must include the case number 2508230311 to be eligible for the reward.
