The Detroit Police Department is asking for help to locate Tamara Chapman, 55, who went missing on Wednesday, from her home on the 5000 block of Parker Street in Detroit. She is 5'3", weighs 180 pounds, has light brown hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a blue and white sundress while carrying a black purse.
Chapman has been diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, as reported by ClickOnDetroit. Authorities noted that her medical conditions may increase her vulnerability, adding urgency to efforts to locate her.
The Detroit Police Department's 7th Precinct is leading the search for Chapman. Anyone with information is asked to call 313-596-5940, or provide anonymous tips through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-Speak Up. According to the Detroit Police Department's Missing on their Facebook page, the department has also posted an appeal with Chapman’s photo.
