Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputies responded to the crash at approximately 7:30 a.m., where they discovered that the driver of one of the vehicles, who was the sole occupant, had sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead at the scene. Found suffering from various injuries, the occupants of the second vehicle—consisting of a driver and two passengers—were transported by emergency services to a nearby hospital.
