Yesterday morning, a collision between an MTA bus and a car left several people injured in Flatlands, Brooklyn. According to ABC7NY, the accident occurred at the intersection of Glenwood Rd. and Ralph Ave. when a northbound B47 bus collided with a car around 3:22 a.m. The Fire Department and the New York Police Department responded to the 911 call promptly.
Both the 33-year-old woman and the 35-year-old man who were in the car were transported to Kings County Hospital, where they are reported to be in stable condition. PIX11 added that while the New York Police Department only reported two injuries initially, the Fire Department's records show that a total of four were injured in the incident.
At this time, police have stated that there is no suspicion of criminality linked to the accident. Officials have not released any additional information regarding the cause of the crash or any contributing factors that may have led to this collision.
