He recounted the unsettling experience to the Polk County Sheriff's Office, explaining how witnessing the violence marred their day out and caused considerable distress, especially for the young ones. "It negatively impacted my day and caused distress to my family," he said in a statement referenced by the official report published yesterday.

In the aftermath, the Polk County Sheriff's Office has taken the eight suspects into custody. The extent of the charges they face, has not yet been disclosed.
