An El Salvadoran national residing in Carrollton is facing federal charges for allegedly making an unlawful return to the United States. David Antonio Lopez-Hernandez, 43, was indicted by a federal grand jury earlier this week, as reported by FOX4 News. According to the allegations, he was found in the Eastern District of Texas on April 18, after having been previously sent back to his country of origin.
The indictment is part of a larger initiative known as Operation Take Back America. This nationwide campaign is designed to consolidate efforts across various Department of Justice sectors to not just significantly reduce illegal immigration but also to dismantle cartels and transnational criminal organizations.
