
Tomorrow, Eminem devotees have the chance to bleach their hair and don baggy jeans to win an official Stan look-alike contest in Manhattan. Eminem, in collaboration with Complex, will host the contest in SoHo where fans are encouraged to dress up like the character from his hit music video "Stan," reported PIX11. The pop-up event, running from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., leads up to the premiere of Eminem's documentary “Stans,” which screens Wednesday night at The Rooftop at Pier 17.
Those eager to participate in the look-alike contest should note it's set to take place at 620 Broadway at 3 p.m., and RSVPs can be made via Complex’s website. The pop-up shop will feature exclusive Slim Shady merchandise, vinyls, and promise of special guests, including the chance to see Devon Sawa, the original Stan from the music video, Time Out New York revealed that along with the chance to meet celebrities they also can be one of the first to see the trailer of the upcoming documentary.
Coinciding with the look-alike contest is the release of the new "STANS" documentary film which delves deep into the phenomenon of fandom and Eminem's relationship with his own public image.
