As the summer season wanes and the golden hues of autumn beckon, Euless' Aquatic Park invites families to take advantage of its final days of operation before the inevitable close. As per the City of Euless, revelers are encouraged to come out to the park located at 300 W Midway Dr, Euless for a last splash during the upcoming Labor Day weekend, with festivities commencing on Saturday, August 30 and culminating on Monday, September 1.
Before the autumnal equinox ushers us to collectively retreat indoors, the park seeks to robustly celebrate the remnants of summer. Hours for Saturday and Sunday are slated from noon to 7:00 p.m., while Monday's farewell will draw to a close at 6:00 p.m. Weather or other unforeseen circumstances might modify these hours, but the intent is to firmly offer a chance to hurriedly indulge in a leisurely last day by the water.
The Aquatic Park has long served as a treasury of aquatic pleasures for the community. As outlined by Euless municipal announcements, the attractions are diverse, ranging from the serene flow of the lazy river to the adrenaline-fueled descent within flume slides. Patrons can also navigate the balanced challenge of the lily pad walk or seek reprieve in the arms of lounge chairs, all while children conquer the water playground or dance among the sparkle of sprinkling fountains. For those driven by a simpler palate, traditional amusement fare - such as funnel cakes and nachos - or a family-prepared picnic can complement the aquatic escapade.
