As reported by the City of Elyria's announcement, the family-centric affair is complimentary and will initiate a sensory-friendly hour from 10:30 am to 11:30 am – a considerate gesture for those sensitive to loud noises with the absence of sirens, lights, horns, or music. Post this tranquil period, attendees can expect the arrival of the Metro Life Flight Helicopter at 11:30 am, weather playing its part in permitting the spectacle.
Adding to the allure, DJ Jonathan Whitfield Sr. will be elevating the sonic landscape from 11:30 am to 2 pm, providing musical accompaniment as children and parents alike weave through the impressive displays of machinery and opulence in steel and rubber that are usually beheld from a distance. Alongside educational engagement, the event promises a feast for the palate with food vendors like Gullett Hotdogs, Jones Bones BBQ, CLE Chicken, and Bone Appetit Creamery poised to satisfy a variety of cravings.
