
Community members in Fairfield County have an opportunity to strengthen bonds with local law enforcement during the 2nd annual National Night Out event today. As shared on social media by the Fairfield County Sheriff's Office, the event aims to foster police-community partnerships and enhance the safety of neighborhoods through positive engagement.
Slated for 5-7 pm at Lanreco Park, at the corner of East 6th Ave and North Cherry St, the National Night Out event will bring together the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office and the Lancaster Police Department. Enjoy a range of family-friendly activities, including water games, face painting, and other children's games, while enjoying free hot dogs.
The event lets locals meet law enforcement in a friendly setting, helping build trust and understanding. Agencies will be there to share in an evening of community spirit and positive connections.
