It's time for students to score some free gear and have a blast before the school year kicks in. The Back to School Jamboree is setting up shop at John Chavis Memorial Park this upcoming Saturday, guaranteed to bring the fun with its array of giant inflatables, enticing food trucks, and a slew of crafts and games to dive into. A recent announcement from the City of Raleigh made it clear—no one's going home empty-handed.
According to details shared through the City of Raleigh's portal, children will receive a free lunch box and water bottle while supplies last. The event is scheduled for Saturday, August 16, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. It is family-friendly, open to all ages, and free to attend.
