The Nevada Highway Patrol informed the public through a social media post that they are investigating the scene of the crash. As a result of the accident, officials have been forced to shut down the northbound lanes of US395 at the intersection.
For those planning to travel soon, detours are in place. Northbound traffic has been redirected onto Lemmon Drive, with an option to merge back onto US395 northbound via an onramp further along the route.
Drivers exiting US395 are subject to limitations, with northbound offramp traffic allowed to turn right only, and the same restriction applies to the southbound offramp. Traffic flow is irregular and is being managed by law enforcement.
