Former Central Christian Church youth pastor, 52-year-old Thomas Pinkerton, has been apprehended and faces multiple sex offense charges, as announced by the Baltimore County Police Department. Pinkerton's arrest follows allegations of sexual abuse that reportedly occurred between 2006 and 2010, within the church's premises on Rossville Blvd., and at his then-home in Baltimore County. Now residing in Georgia, Pinkerton has been extradited to Maryland to face the charges.
The Baltimore County Police emphasize their belief that Pinkerton's list of victims may not end with those currently identified. The Crimes Against Children Unit urges anyone with relevant information or those who have been affected by Pinkerton's actions to reach out at 410-887-7720, as per the recent Baltimore County news release.
The former youth pastor is now being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center, denied bond as he awaits further legal proceedings.
