St. Petersburg law enforcement officials confirmed the arrest of a fourth suspect in connection with the shooting death of a local man last month. According to WFLA, officers responded to the scene of the shooting on the evening of July 29, at the 1200 block of 9th Avenue South, where 39-year-old Reginald L. Booth sustained fatal gunshot wounds.

19-year-old D'antrell Davis was taken into custody on Monday, identified by the St. Petersburg Police Department as a suspect in Booth's murder. Despite his young age, Davis now faces charges that could irreversibly alter the course of his life. After being shot, Booth was hospitalized but ultimately succumbed to his injuries, as reported by ABC Action News.

Prior arrests in the case were detailed by WTSP, which outlined that on August 2, authorities apprehended 19-year-old Keshaun Lamb and 18-year-old Larrion Boyd, both of whom face charges including first-degree murder and armed kidnapping. Additionally, Lamb is charged with armed burglary. Subsequently, Dnerius McCullough, aged 31, was arrested on August 5 in Riverview on a Pinellas County arrest warrant, standing accused of first-degree murder and kidnapping.

Authorities have arrested Davis in connection with a case involving the fatal shooting of a man near Tropicana Field. Several other suspects, some of them young adults, have also been taken into custody. They face charges related to the incident, which occurred close to one of the community’s most well-known landmarks.
