A case of gunfire in a Gibsonton neighborhood has swiftly led to the arrest of a suspect, thanks to the efforts of Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) detectives. On Monday, an altercation erupted into violence on Southwind Lake Drive, leaving behind a trail of bullet-stricken property—a vehicle, a palm tree, and surrounding homes—caught in the havoc.
It didn't take the detectives long to quickly amass evidence necessary for an arrest. They harnessed surveillance footage, gathered witness statements, and executed a search warrant, forming the basis of their case against the alleged perpetrator, Isaiah Gibson, a 22-year-old resident.
