
A Glen Burnie man was taken into custody after an altercation in which he reportedly threatened another individual with a machete. According to FOX Baltimore, the incident, which unfolded last night, has led to charges for 29-year-old Jason Portillo.
The confrontation occurred around 8 p.m. on the 800 block of Crain Highway South, when Portillo allegedly approached the victim's vehicle and menacingly used the machete during a heated dispute, officers were not able to locate the weapon after Portillo was seen fleeing the scene on Padfield Avenue, the victim, however, did not sustain injuries during the assault, as detailed by DC News Now.
Arrest records confirm that Portillo is now facing assault charges as a result of the encounter.
