Last Saturday evening, a routine traffic stop escalated into an arrest for a habitual offender on FM 1960. According to a statement provided by Constable Mark Herman's Office, a deputy conducted the stop after noticing a traffic violation. The driver, identified as Baron Richardson, showed clear signs of intoxication during the encounter.
Law enforcement officers, following protocol, administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, determining that Richardson was indeed under the influence. With two prior convictions already staining his record, Richardson now faces his third charge for Driving While Intoxicated.
"Baron Richardson was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated-3rd Offense," as per a statement from Constable Mark Herman's Office. Richardson's case is pending before the 488th District Court as he awaits the setting of his bond.
