Last night, a vehicle chase near Spring Cypress Road and Telge Road ended when deputies from the Harris County Constable's Office deployed Stop Sticks to stop a fleeing driver. After the tires were deflated, the driver attempted to run but was stopped by Sergeant Baskins' K9, Mitch, who apprehended him. The passenger was also detained without further incident. Both individuals were given medical treatment before being taken to the Harris County Jail, according to the Mark Herman, Harris County Constable Precinct 4's Facebook post.
The Constable's Office released a statement commending the deputies and K9 Mitch for their actions in ending the pursuit safely.
The Harris County Constable's Office also reminded the public that updates on arrests, traffic incidents, and road conditions are available through their social media pages and the "C4 NOW" mobile app.
