Harris County law enforcement stopped a suspected drunk driver in their tracks after the individual came perilously close to colliding with a traffic barrier. The incident, which unfolded last Friday, took place in the 18000 block of Tomball Parkway, according to officials from Constable Mark Herman's Office.
Responding to calls concerning a potential intoxicated motorist, deputies located and pulled over the vehicle in question. The driver, identified as Yosselin Molina Umanzor, appeared to exhibit signs of impairment. Deputies conducted a Standardized Field Sobriety Test, after which they determined the driver was indeed under the influence. Constable Mark Herman's Office stated, "Yosselyn Molina Umanzor was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated." Her bond was set at a mere $100.00 out of County Court 9.
The constable's office urges residents to stay alert and report any suspicious driving. With their mobile app "C4 NOW," they aim to make it easier for people to access and share live updates on crime, arrests, safety tips, and traffic accidents.
