Deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office took a driver off the roads in the Harris County area earlier this week, after a routine traffic stop led to a DWI arrest. On the night of August 1, a vehicle was pulled over on W Sam Houston Parkway N, near the 9100 block, for undisclosed reasons. Behind the wheel was Toni Ann Orth, who was found to exhibit signs that suggested inebriation, as reported on the precinct's official Facebook page.
The encounter escalated when Orth underwent a series of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, confirming deputies' suspicions; Toni was indeed intoxicated. In a post shared by Precinct 4, Constable Mark Herman was quoted, "Toni Ann Orth was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for Driving While Intoxicated. Her bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 5."
