Two days ago, a Harris County Constable's Office Deputy initiated a traffic stop leading to the arrest of an individual with a prior felony conviction. The operation occurred in the 19400 block of Sears Drive where Marcquitt Meeks was stopped and later found to be carrying a loaded firearm. As per the regulations, felons are prohibited from possessing firearms, marking this incident as a significant legal breach. In light of the deputy's findings, Meeks was taken into custody.
According to Constable Mark Herman's Facebook page, the suspect was "arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Felon in Possession of a Firearm." The posting also revealed that his bond was set at $5,000.00, by the 178th District Court.
