A Harris County neighborhood, recently rattled by the sharp snap of gunfire, finds respite as two alleged perpetrators are apprehended. As per a report by Constable Mark Herman's Office, deputies were called to the scene of a drive-by shooting on Tuesday at the 11400 block of Walnut Meadow Drive. They arrived to find a backdrop of a vehicle and a residence pocked with bullet damage, amidst a scattering of spent shell casings.
Having collected evidence, which included video footage, authorities, following a lead, made contact with two suspects: Anthony Ramos and Daniel Ramos. During an interrogation that ensued, Anthony Ramos admitted to the shooting and implicated his brother, according to Constable Mark Herman's Office.
The brothers were subsequently arrested and are now facing charges of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. "They were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail," said Herman, as reported by the Constable's Office. Anthony's bond was set at $100,000.00 and Daniel's at $75,000.00, both through the 495th District Court. Information on the case and other local safety updates are shared through the Constable's Office social media channels and their "C4 NOW" mobile app—allegedly providing live feeds on crime, arrests, and road conditions.
