
On Wednesday evening, Harris County constables responded to a call involving a violent disturbance in the area of Shinwood Drive, according to an announcement by Constable Mark Herman's Office on their official Facebook page. The incident led to the arrest of a woman identified as Kerissa Penister, who reportedly wielded a knife during an altercation, putting another individual's safety at risk.
"Kerissa Penister was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Her bond was set at $45,000.00 out of the 176th District Court," as stated by Constable Mark Herman's Office.
The constable’s office urged residents to stay informed about local crime, arrests, safety tips, and traffic accidents by using their new mobile app, “C4 NOW.” The app provides live updates and aims to strengthen the connection between officers and the community.
