Deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office were called to the scene of a shooting in the 14500 block of Ella Boulevard. Upon arriving, they discovered a female victim with multiple gunshot wounds. Without hesitation, they applied several tourniquets and took life-saving measures until the emergency medical services took over. The victim was then rushed to a local hospital for further care. The quick response of these deputies potentially saved her life.
Following the incident, the deputies managed to apprehend three suspects accused of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Found at the scene, with the help of the responders, they were taken into custody where they will face their charges. As reported by Precinct 4's Facebook page, Constable Mark Herman expressed his relief and commended his deputies, stating, "This violent act could have taken a life. Thanks to the quick actions of our deputies, suspects are in custody and the victim is receiving care."
