Jacob Daniel Robinson, a 30-year-old Hesperia resident, now faces a series of charges following his arrest on Wednesday, for alleged crimes including lewd acts with a child under 14, using a minor to engage in sexual conduct, and for possession of child pornography, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner Department.
Investigations by Homeland Security Investigations' Child Exploitation Investigations Group led the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Specialized Investigations Division, Crimes Against Children Detail to uncover Robinson's alleged use of an online chat platform where he is said to have started conversations with a 12-year-old female from Nevada, soliciting child sexual abuse material this arrest marks the culmination of an operation which began earlier in the year, with Robinson booked at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto on a $100,000 bail, as per the SBSD Headquarters.
