Hillsborough County Fire Rescue contained a garage fire on Ashburn Lake Drive that had engulfed a car, preventing it from spreading to the main living areas. During a search of the home, firefighters found an unresponsive dog, and “Paramedics at the scene administered oxygen and first aid,” before the owner took the pet to a local veterinarian for further care, as reported by WFLA.
No injuries were reported to residents or firefighters during the incident. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, as mentioned by IONTB. The blaze was intense but was quickly brought under control by responding crews.
