Last Saturday morning, August 9, two individuals were subjected to violence in a Sheridan Street bar, as reported by the Honolulu Police Department (Official Site). An argument took hold among the victims, a 27-year-old and a 29-year-old, and an unidentified male, transforming swiftly into a physical altercation which resulted in both victims being stabbed multiple times by their assailant.
The perpetrator vanished before law enforcement could arrive on the scene, prompting the police to open an Attempted Murder case; the inquiry into the matter is still active, and the authorities are calling on the community for assistance. Descriptions provided indicate the suspect is a man of Asian descent, in his 40s, approximately 5 feet 9 inches in stature with a build of moderate size, last seen attired in a white puffer jacket paired with black trousers.
Following the unfortunate incident, Emergency Medical Services promptly transferred both wounded parties to a local hospital, where they are currently receiving treatment.
